An individual who is over 18 years of age and wishes to be part of The Badgers Den. Age under 18 are allowed entry in to the guild with Officer or Guild Master approval. Once you have met the requirements for membership (see below) and it has been verified by an Officer or the Guild Leader, you will be eligible to be promoted to the rank of Member. Initiates may not invite other players to join the guild, bring in any alts and will have limited access to the forums. Promotions are done once your membership requirements are met. Depending on when the requirements are met will determine when the initiate is promoted. Initiates may view the Guild Bank but not withdraw items or gold.

Inactive

Members: A character will default into this category if it is not logged into for 30 days without notification on the forum (for instance vacation, etc). If they continue for another 30 days with no log in they will be removed from the Guild. If a Member is removed in this way and they start playing the character again they can be reinstated with no penalties. Inactive status has no Guild Bank access.

Applicants: Will be removed from the Guild if there has been no activity in 30 days. If the applicant wishes to reapply they must still fulfill the membership requirements.

Bank
This is a character that is used for storage and maintenance. Bank toons may access the Primary Guild Bank vault to deposit and withdraw up to 2 stacks per day from the Primary Vault and 1 stack from the Secondary and Tertiary Vault. They may view the other Vaults to deposit items in the appropriate category.

Alt
This is where the Alt's of a Member's account will reside unless it is a bank toon. Alt toons may access the Guild Bank to deposit and withdraw up to 2 stacks per day from the Primary Vault and 1 stack from the Secondary and Tertiary Vault. They may view the other Vaults to deposit items in the appropriate category.

Member
To become a member of the Badgers Den one must register and claim their characters from the Website Guild Roster and have installed and enabled the following programs: Omen Threat Meter, Ventrilo, Group Calendar and Deadly Boss Mods (The most recent versions can be found at the guild website in the File Download section. You are not required to have a microphone to use Ventrilo, but you will at least be able to hear your Guild Mates during raids and activities.) Promotion to Member Status will be done upon completion. Members may invite other players to join the Guild and will be listed as their Sponsor. You will make every effort to help your Applicant complete the membership process as soon as possible. Members may access the Guild Bank to deposit and withdraw up to 4 stacks per day from the Primary Vault, 3 stacks from the Secondary and 1 stacks from the Tertiary Vault. They may view the other Vaults to deposit items in the appropriate category.

Raider
Characters that regularly participate in Guild Raids and Activities and are generally but not always level 80 will be promoted to Raider. These toons will be expected to help participate and assist with end-game content as we work towards building a strong team for Raiding. Raiders may access all Five Vaults to deposit and withdraw items. They also have access to the bank for repairs during Guild Raids.  ABUSE of the Repair ability will result in the loss of Raider Rank for your toon.

Raid Leaders
These are the people that will organize and facilitate the Guild Raids.  They will list their assigned Raids on the Group Calendar and do the invites, set up, and anything else needed to make the raid happen.  They have the ability to assign another person during the raid to handle the explanations and markings if needed as well as any other assistants they deem necessary for success.  Your Raid Leader will be the Master Looter and handle gear distribution.  They will have final say when settling any arguments or dissent during the raid.  To be a Raid Leader you must have a working microphone for Vent and have ClassLoot and any other appropriate loot add-ons installed.

Being an Raid Leader is an honor and a privilege and you must show a willingness to improve the guild through assistance to others, constructive concepts to build the guild, and participation. Acceptance in to Raid Leader status is by application only and promotion is generally done during the monthly guild meeting.

Senior Officers
These people fill many roles. Senior Officers will regularly participate in Badgers Den activities including but not limited to Guild meetings, Raids, etc. Officers are in charge of order, member moral and keeping on top of their class responsibilities. They also assist the Guild Leader with any administrative actions, such as disciplinary demotions or removing characters from the guild.

Furthermore they are should make themselves familiar with upcoming boss fights and the related strategies for each organized raid they lead. Officers will lead raids, settle disputes fairly and firmly, as well as be aware of any member-to-member altercations or infractions.
